Mini SAS SFF-8087 to Slimline SAS SFF-8654 Data Hard Disk Raid Cable for Server Data Center

Mini-SAS cable configurations; It is an internal Slimline SAS x4 (SFF-8654) to Mini Serial Attached SCSI x4 (SFF-8087) cable; It is used for connecting a SAS/SATA adapter to a SAS/SATA backplane.

Using SFF-8087 Mini SAS connectors, they support SAS 2.0/3.0/4.0 data rates up to 6 Gb/s with stable signal performance. These assemblies are ideal for backplane connections, JBOD integration, and internal SATA or SAS drive routing in data-center environments.

SFF-8654 is the official Small Form Factor (SFF) committee designation for the SlimSAS interface. It defines the physical, electrical, and mechanical requirements for SlimSAS 4i connectors—making it the backbone for next-generation internal high-speed cabling.

These Connectors will be used on the SAS 3.0/4.0 specification when it is released. Cable material may change but the connectors will be the next generation of SAS to run at 12Gb/s.
